Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of LifeWithMy.pet (“LifeWithMy.pet,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including our website, mobile experiences, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@lifewithmy.pet if you suspect unauthorized access.

You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.

LifeWithMy.pet offers free and paid plans, including Plus subscriptions and optional storage add-ons. Paid features are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis unless stated otherwise at checkout.

• Billing — By subscribing, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your payment method on the billing cycle shown at purchase.
• Cancellation — You may cancel through your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
• Downgrades — Moving to a free plan may require you to reduce pets, storage, or content to fit plan limits before the downgrade completes.
• Refunds — Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

Prices and plan features may change. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to paid plans.

LifeWithMy.pet may allow users to publish adoption or rehoming listings. Listings are provided by individual sellers, not by LifeWithMy.pet. We do not guarantee the health, temperament, legality, or suitability of any animal listed.

• Sellers are solely responsible for accurate descriptions, compliance with local laws, licensing requirements, and humane treatment of animals.
• Paid rehoming fees may include a platform fee collected at checkout. Free listings may use a request-based flow without payment processing.
• Buyers and sellers are responsible for completing due diligence, meet-and-greets, contracts, and transfer of care outside the platform where applicable.
• We may remove listings or suspend accounts that appear fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You retain ownership of photos, memories, pet records, and other content you upload (“User Content”). You grant LifeWithMy.pet a limited license to host, store, display, and process User Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including showing content to people you authorize and displaying adoption listings you publish.

You represent that you have the rights to upload User Content and that it does not violate third-party rights or applicable law. We may remove content that we reasonably believe violates these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes
• Harass, impersonate, or mislead other users
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service
• Scrape, bulk harvest, or resell data from the Service without permission
• List animals for illegal breeding, fighting, or other prohibited activities
• Circumvent plan limits, payment requirements, or security measures

LifeWithMy.pet and its logos, design, software, and documentation are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks except as needed to use the Service in normal operation.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

LifeWithMy.pet is not a veterinary provider, shelter, breeder registry, or emergency service. Health reminders and care tools are for organization only and are not medical advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIFEWITHMY.PET AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LifeWithMy.pet from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, your adoption listings, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
